The same spirit that inspired this remarkable reimagining, perhaps a complete reinvention, of an Okavango Delta safari. This is Xigera (pronounced ‘kee-jera’), named for the Pied Kingfisher that makes its home amid the watery channels of Botswana’s Moremi Game Reserve. Every aspect is handcrafted to beguile our guests’ senses and stir their souls – from the evocative interiors to one-of-a-kind encounters. But Xigera is equally a line in the sand. Walk: Along Rue des Alpes and turn left onto Quai du Mont-Blanc. Hotel D’Angleterre is number 17.
Bus: When you exit the train station, take bus numbers 1 or 25, direction “Jardin Botanique”. Alight at “Monthoux”.
Taxi: From the station to the hotel should be between CHF 15.- and CHF 25.-, depending on the number of pieces of luggage you have.
Limousine: This can be booked with our concierge for CHF 130.- For this service we will need your exact arrival time and city of origin.
