Lac Léman, also known as Lake Geneva or Lake Leman, is well known for its glistening, deep-blue waters and striking mountainous surroundings. About 583 sq km in area, Lac Léman is the largest lake in central Europe, with Hotel d’Angleterre offering impressive views across the lake and of the striking Jet d’Eau. Lac Léman offers so many opportunities, both for sightseeing and for leisure, with the complimentary boat shuttle service leaving from just outside the hotel.
In French "Le Lac Léman” means the whole lake, referring to the lake in its entirety rather than its position within the city of Geneva. "Le Lac de Genève" technically refers only to the part of the lake that twists round towards Geneva, so Lac Léman - or Lake Leman - is a more common local term than Lake Geneva, which became popular following the rise of Geneva.

Join a seasoned Swiss angler on Lake Geneva for a three-hour fishing tour, where you can learn the local fishing practices. You will then take your catch back to Executive Chef Alexandre Cardiga, who will prepare a sublime three-course lunch for you to enjoy. Lunch will be served with paired wines in Le 17 Restaurant, overlooking the lake and the Jet d’Eau.
